產(chǎn)品介紹 | 組蛋白翻譯后修飾(PTM)是表觀遺傳學(xué)的關(guān)鍵機制,可調(diào)節(jié)染色質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu),稱為“組蛋白密碼”。血清素也稱為5-羥色胺(5-HT),是一種興奮性神經(jīng)遞質(zhì),可激活大腦中特定的膜受體來調(diào)節(jié)腦細胞的活動。在TGM2蛋白的催化下,5-羥色胺的氨基可與組蛋白H3第5位谷氨酰胺的側(cè)鏈羧基共價結(jié)合,形成組蛋白5-羥色胺(H3Q5ser)。H3Q5ser與相鄰的H3K4me3間相互影響。H3K4me3Q5ser可增強TFIID等轉(zhuǎn)錄因子與染色質(zhì)的結(jié)合,從而激活發(fā)育中的嚙齒動物大腦或人類神經(jīng)元中下游基因的表達。 |
